Hey! My name is Gibby and I've been a huge "Doctor Who" fan since the mid-1990s. I first discovered the show at the age of three when the TV
was left on 'UK Gold' (or 'GOLD' as it's known nowadays) after my parents had been watching a programme on the channel. I was introduced to this extraordinary world and, from then on, every week I was transported into this wonderful universe of men with two hearts, deadly pepperpots, killer mannequins, and gorgeous companions.
A few "Who" facts about me:
- My first ever episode of "Who" was Pertwee's first ever serial, 'Spearhead from Space', featuring the Autons.
- My favourite Doctor is the Fourth Doctor, played by Tom Baker.
- The Doctor I would describe as 'my Doctor' would be the Eighth Doctor, played masterfully by Paul McGann.
- My favourite companion of all-time is Sarah Jane Smith, closely followed by Lucie Miller.
- My favourite "Who" story of all-time is 'The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances', closely followed by 'Terror of the Zygons'.
- My favourite series/season of Doctor Who is Series 1 and 4 (NuWho) and Seasons 9 - 14 and 22 (Classic Who).
- My favourite "Who" monster of all-time is the Daleks.
- My favourite "Who" writer of all-time is Robert Holmes, closely followed by Steven Moffat.
- My favourite "Who" director of all-time is Graeme Harper, closely followed by Euros Lyn.
- My least favourite "Who" story of all-time is 'The Twin Dilemma', closely followed by 'Fear Her'.
- I have had several "Who" crushes over the years, including: Deborah Watling (Victoria Waterfield), Elisabeth Sladen (Sarah Jane Smith), Sarah Sutton (Nyssa of Traken), Nicola Bryant (Perpugilliam Brown), Sophie Aldred (Dorothy 'Ace' McShane), Billie Piper (Rose Tyler) and Jenna-Louise Coleman (Clara Oswald).
So, now you know a little bit about me, I welcome you to my site. My mission: to create as many fantastic "Doctor Who" adventures as possible, including a very special multi-Doctor and multi-Companion adventure for the show's MASSIVE 50th anniversary celebrations in November.
So, let the fun begin...'
